We hope that you will consider including a gift to Take Stock in Children Nassau County in your will or living trust.  Called a charitable bequest, this type of gift ensures that TSIC’s work will continue for generations and offers you the following benefits:

Simplicity:  A few simple sentences added to your will or trust is all that is needed.  Sample language to consider is:  “Take Stock in Children Nassau County is to receive  ______ , without reduction for any tax occasioned by my death.  This bequest is unrestricted and the governing body of Take Stock in Children Nassau County may use and expend the bequest in any manner it deems appropriate.”

Flexibility: You may easily change the terms of your bequest at any time.

Versatility:  You can structure the bequest to leave a specific amount of money or a percentage of your estate.

Tax Benefits:  If your estate is subject to estate tax, the full value of you gift may be entitled to a charitable tax deduction.
